Not happy with Rudy Giuliani for this little statement
From Drudge, Jim Geraghty highlights this statement from Rudy:
Do I have any plans on killing McCain Feingold? (laughter) Gee, why don’t you ask Senator McCain that? He knows more about McCain-Feingold… Let me tell you a few things. This is not personal at all, because I happen to be a very big admirer of Sen. McCain. And I can tell you quite honestly that if I weren’t running for president, I would be here supporting him. In fact, if for some reason I made a decision not to run, he’d be my candidate. I really admire the man tremendously.
That does not make me want to vote for Rudy. John McCain doesn’t deserve to get anywhere near the White House. McCain-Feingold is a speech-infringing piece of legislative crap and Rudy should have come down squarely and plainly against it. The personal support of McCain is another problem. McCain, save for one thing, his support of finishing the job in Iraq, is on the wrong side of virtually every issue these days. If Rudy supports all the same crap...he’s going to lose my vote.
At this stage I literally cannot find anyone I like running for President. I almost like Fred, but we all know he’s not really running. Yet. ;)
Looks like another election where we vote for the least worst. When did we decide we needed a royal class of politicians to replace the bluebloods of England? Why do we keep electing these do-nothing, substance-free idiots that coast through life playing at politics and golf while establishing nothing more than piles of wealth and power bases? Why are we so content to be ruled by an elite class?
