Time to geek out with 300, Superman and Terminators
OK, seriously, if I don’t get to see Frank Miller’s 300 soon I think I will explode. Check out this “300 seconds of 300” MTV exclusive. Holy crap.
Proving further that I am super dorktastic, this news actually made me happy.
During a panel focusing on DC Comics’ efforts to adapt its legendary stories to animation, writer/producer/director Bruce Timm revealed several new details about the first production - Superman/Doomsday.
I loved the Death of Superman storyline. It finally brought some new life to the character which, let’s face it, by then had grown quite stale. I’ve been waiting for years to see it brought to life, and I suspect that Bruce Timm will do it well.
Lastly, Summer Glau will be a Terminator in The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Sweet. Nothing like a tiny hot woman kicking all sorts of ass to draw my attention.
Hat tip to Cinematical for all these stories.

Bruce Timm’s animation style is great. I feel like such a dork too, but I’ve loved all of his series. He’s done Batman/Bruce Wayne damn near perfect in each series, and when I see him portrayed that is the standard I use as the base.

I’ll probably watch the Superman vs Doomsday. I’ve never been into comics, but a friend of mine told me to borrow the compilation of the SvD, and I really liked it. And all the females in my family want to see 300 simply because it has Gerard Buttcheeks running around in a loincloth. They’ve had a Pavlovian response to that guy ever since Phantom of the Opera. Mention his name and they drool

Am I the only one that has seen “The 300 spartans” the 60s era movie? Don’t know the exact year off hand. Because that’s really why I want to see “300,” an incredible movie if you ever get a chance to see it, for it’s time anyway.
“Our Arrows will blot out the the sun!”
“...Then we will fight in the shade”

The Superman/Doomsday movie is going to be animated? Awesome.
