This guy was supposed to have shot himself while in the interrogation room.
I suppose it could have been worse. NYPD could have sodomized him with a mop.
Kanagawa police had been arguing that the man, who was under arrest on charges of illegal possession of a firearm, fatally shot himself in a questioning room at the Tobe Police Station in Yokohama in November 1997. Police alleged that the man grabbed a gun placed on the table, loaded it with bullets he picked up from a plastic bag, and shot himself in the heart while the interrogating officer was compiling a report of the questioning session.
The judge, however, was not convinced. “The only moment the officer took his eyes off the man was five seconds when he picked up an envelope he dropped from the floor, but taking bullets out from the bag in such a short period of time is simply impossible,” Sakurai said. “Moreover, the police argument that the officer did not notice the man loading his gun because he was compiling the report was unnatural and not worthy of any thought.”

And this one *should* be sodomized with a mop. A warning? It’s bad enough that life dealt you a hand where you have to live in an institution...is it *really* necessary that you be kicked and beaten?
Although the worker denied any abuse, he was given a stern warning by the institute, which said patients had become afraid of him. The institution’s head reportedly explained the punishment by saying that it could not be determined that the worker had indeed injured the patient.
Crazy island bastards. Next thing you know they’ll be dancing in their underwear on TV.
