Good for him! He’ll be getting the royal treatment from his wife for a while ;)
On a similar note---I just renewed my Concealed Weapons Permit. Pretty painless ordeal--just pay the fee and get your picture taken at the DMV. But if you let it expire you have to go through the whole process again--application, larger fees, fingerprints, FBI check, proof of firearms courses,approval, etc.
I got pulled over for speeding once by the HP. Your CWP is linked to to your driver’s license. When he came back to my truck he asked if I was carrying. “Yes sir,” I said, “it’s right here,” as I pointed to my console. “Good,” he said, “everyone should carry.”

Good for him.
I’m sure there is some scum bag lawyer who is willing to represent those two pieces of shit in an attempt to sue him though.
