The new pope

I don’t care.  The institution is damaged beyond repair.  Good bad or indifferent, a new pope won’t mean a damned thing until they own up to systemic abuse of children and a despicable plan that goes all the way to the top to cover it all up.

One explanation for this one I’ve heard is that he’s essentially a “temp Pope"… they know they’ve only got ten or fifteen years out of him, they’re essentially slotting him in until they can find the one they really want.
Not that I care either, really, just sayin’.

You fool JimK, you don’t think the neo-conservatives and the VRWC would not take advantage of these events?

The neo-cons are on top of things as they always are. Neo-cons hate kiddy-fiddlers.

We go from a Pope-inski, to a Pope-en-brough, or is it Pope-en-himer.

15 years is not fucking temporary.  It may not be quite as long as the last one, but that’s a long time.  Shit a president’s 4 years isn’t even temporary… I mean, it’s 4 years.

As popes go, yeah, 15 years is temporary. That’s why there will never be a thirty-something pope, they’d have to put up with him for sixty+ years. They usually aim for something like thirty out of these guys.
