Son of MegaExtraSuperTruck

It’s a hell of a truck that’s for sure.

I know it’s a beast.  It’s about as useful as tits on a bull, practical as a screen door on a submarine and about as logical as a Democrat in Congress, but...I’d kinda drive one if I was crazy rich and felt like pissing off the neighbors.  What I can’t figure out though, is why the debut involved a Stargate.

With its diesel engine roaring and air horn blasting, the powerful red pickup truck thundered through the walls of International Truck and Engine Corporation’s booth at its Chicago Auto Show press conference today. That’s how the company – which sent shockwaves through the pickup truck world in 2004 by launching the world’s largest production pickup truck – continued to knock down the walls of convention in unveiling its new International MXT™ 4x4 pickup.

With 16,000 pounds of towing capacity, the new International MXT has the ability to tow three leading model pickups behind it. A cousin to the colossal International CXT™ introduced two years ago, the MXT is a sleek and dominant truck geared for the “image” truck market, a growing niche of truck owners who want to make a powerful statement about who they are.

“These trucks are built for customers who want to make a statement – they promote as much as they perform,” said Kapur. “CXT owners have successfully used the trucks to promote their business. We anticipate that RXT owners will use the trucks to draw attention to their hobbies, while MXT owners will seek to create an indelible image.”

With the XT family, International is enhancing its target for the “image truck market” – customers who purchase trucks to create an image about themselves and their business.

Yeah...not really a practical vehicle so much as a “Look at how rich I am and how big my truck is, eat my ass environmentalists!” vehicle.  At least it’s smaller than the CXT.

It looks like something that Monster Garage would turn a firetruck into.

I’m sure there’s a rancher or construction worker who could really use it’s power and cargo ability. To bad it will be priced far beyond either of their budgets to be practical.

If you so desprately want a truck, just buy a fucking toyota.

Cheap, effecient, and if Afghanistan is any example, fucking indestructable.

I agree with wacko enviromentalists on thing. If you buy a a big fucking truck or an SUV just to feel like your penis isn’t quite so small, and for no other reason, you suck ass and should be banished to mexico.

That’s certainly not true for a lot of people who own such vehicles. SUV’s basically have to replace mini van’s in some shitty rural areas, like where I’m from. Minivan doesn’t fucking cut it in mud season.

Ha! That’s hilarious. It does look like a freakin’ Stargate.
