Rule 37: Always hide the weed

Good: You have a burglar alarm.
Bad: It goes off because someone tried to force their way into your house and the cops show up.
Dumbass: You left all the weed, baggies and the triple-beam out for the cops to find.

Guilford, CT - Police response to an activated home burglary alarm ended with the arrest of two residents for marijuana possession; one was also charged with selling marijuana from his home, located within 1500 of Baldwin Middle School.

On Friday, Jan. 13, a burglary alarm system sounded at a home at 60 Christopher Lane, at 8:48 p.m. An officer responded and found an open door at the house, according to Deputy Chief of Police Jeffrey Hutchinson. Following procedure, a second officer was called in and the house was searched.

“Every time we find an open door on an alarm, we get a second officer and conduct a search,” Hutchinson said.

During the search, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, including packaging materials and a scale, were found in plain view. Police were on the premises when the residents, a father and son, arrived home. The two were arrested without incident at 9:41 p.m.

Based on where the contraband was found, Hutchinson said, “...some was attributed to the father and some to the son.”

Police charged Craig Sklar, 21, with illegal possession of narcotic near a school, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1500 feet of a school, drug cultivation or manufacture with intent to sell, illegal drug sale near a school, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His father, 55 year-old Mark Sklar, was charged with illegal possession of narcotic near a school, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrests were made without incident. Both men were scheduled to appear in court Jan. 24.

Dude, I grew up in a weed house.  I didn’t know pot was illegal until I was like 10.  My parents NEVER left the weed out no matter how much or how little it was.  At the worst, there was shake and some stems in a cigar box under the couch, and that was considered sloppy.  Someone would get pimp-slapped over some shit like that the next day.

Always put the weed away.  And remember to replace the ball-gag on the hookers chained to the pipes in the basement.  Those bitches can yell.

Always put the weed away.

ESPECIALLY if you know that the cops are on the way because of an alarm going off. Move the scale to the kitchen and say it’s for measuring vegetable ingredients or somehting, and bury the rest of it under Bounce dryer sheets in Zip-Loc baggies.

And hide the Cheetos.

{/what?}
