Petty little bitch(es)
Kerry’s a fucking punk. He fell off his bike a couple of weeks ago. Does that make him a stupid child, or just a guy that fell off a bike?
Oh, and look, the AP story and the Reuters story have the same money quote:
Lying asshole reporters. Maybe he did say that, but that’s not *all* he said.
Oh, THAT liberal media.
And for everyone making fun of Bush for taking a spill: You never tripped? Fell down a stair or two? Dropped something on your foot? Fell off a motorcycle? Wrecked your car?
Grow up.

“And for everyone making fun of Bush for taking a spill: You never tripped?”
Yes.
“Fell down a stair or two?”
Of course.
“Dropped something on your foot?”
If I had a dime…
“Fell off a motorcycle?”
This one I haven’t done. Does a moped count? If so, yes.
“Wrecked your car?”
Yep.
And you know what, each and every time it was fucking hilarious and worth of a joke… I’m sure the President can take a joke made at his expense, why can’t his supporters?

The real question is, why, when Bush calls a reporter an asshole and it gets overheard, it’s national news, but when Kerry insinuates the President is a retard, it’s “off the record”?
Maybe either of you’d like to explain that one?

Exactly. Kerry’s a fucking punk, because you *know* he asked that comment be off the record the moment it came out of his mouth. Meanwhile every utterance from Bush, no matter how mant parabolic mics were needed to catch it, are front-page news.
Yes it was funny. Doesn’t make Kerry any less of a punk bitch for saying it out loud, especially when he just fell off his bike a couple of weeks ago.

I spent 2 1/2 weeks in the hospital from my bicycle spill, which resulted in two skull fractures and a greenstick fracture of my left collarbone, not to mention a 35+dB hearing loss, and CONSTANT tinnitus, both of which persist to this day. I’d say they both got off pretty light.

Jim’s got it right. It’s not about this being either news or a joke. It’s about the bias in the media and the way things get reported.
Kerry falls off a bike, curses and blames the Secret Service guy responsible for protectiing his ass (if I was this guy and someone came to get Kerry I would let them get his candy ass and claim I tripped and fell and was to slow to help him) for the fall, acts all indignant and jerky, and I have to read the news on Drudge first or not at all.
Bush falls, and he is immediatly painted as a tard. Followed by some other news item about Iraq where it is claimed Bush is an evil genius that planned the war before 9-11 even happened.
Wow. I now figured out where Kerry gets his flip-flopping ways. The damn media coverage of Bush the idiot/evil genius.
Problem is millions of Americans are either too busy with real life, or too stupid to care where their news comes from to figure out how most of the media is so left they make the old KGB propaganda machine look like the boyscouts.

Hmm- Here is some text from Kerry’s Fall:
CONCORD, Mass. --Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry took a spill from his bicycle while riding Sunday afternoon but was not injured, a campaign official said.
Kerry was riding with Secret Service agents through Concord, about 18 miles north of Boston, when his bike hit a patch of sand and he fell, campaign officials said.
“He’s fine. They took the bike into the bike shop and he went home,” said campaign spokesman Michael Meehan.
Kerry was in Massachusetts—he has a home in Boston—enjoying a break from the campaign trail. It was not immediately clear on what road in Concord he was biking.
Kerry, 60, rides his bicycle as often as he can and sometimes brings it with him on the campaign plane.
At least our presidents canidates are healthy and into “extreme sports”. But Castro will out live them all.
As for the published stuff, there was a PEW link from drudge about media bias Here:

NEW YORK Those convinced that liberals make up a disproportionate share of newsroom workers have long relied on Pew Research Center surveys to confirm this view, and they will not be disappointed by the results of Pew’s latest study released today.
While most of the journalists, like many Americans, describe themselves as “moderate,” a far higher number are “liberal” than in the general population.
At national organizations (which includes print, TV and radio), the numbers break down like this: 34% liberal, 7% conservative. At local outlets: 23% liberal, 12% conservative. At Web sites: 27% call themselves liberals, 13% conservatives.
This contrasts with the self-assessment of the general public: 20% liberal, 33% conservative.

The comment was apparently said off the record, but because it paints Kerry in a negative light (though, I think it is a really funny comment given Bush’s recent “training wheels” comment about Iraq) of course it gets reported. Besides, it isn’t like he called him an asshole or something.
Basically, lighten up. It was a fucking joke. And it was funny. This is news?
