OK, McCain has officially pissed me off
I’m ignoring the rest of the article for the gem buried at the bottom
McCain said both negative ads were funded by groups that benefit from unlimited, unregulated ‘’soft money’’ donations, which he has tried to ban.
Jesus ever-loving jumped-up Christ on a sidecar, John, it was YOUR GODFORSAKEN LEGISLATION THAT BROUGHT US TO THIS. You did this to America, you and Feingold. This is squarely and completely on YOUR shoulders. Your fault. Your mess.
McCain/Feingold left a big fat loophole for billionaires like Soros to fund groups like MoveOn. And it left us with Michael Moore making a two-hour campaign attack ad dressed up as a “documentary.” Why the FUCK do you think they’re all in bed together, John? YOU MADE THE BED FOR THEM. You got some nice cotton sheets, 550 thread count, and fluffed the pillows, and turned the goosedown comforter down for them...hell man you did everything but give them a good night blowjob.
Way to go. I may have to rethink my opinion of you if you are so blind as to not see your own culpability here.

The question is how did this loophole get into the legislation? Was it in the original version as proposed by McC? Was it inserted in conference? Was it requested by the admin as a condition of approval?
