Be careful of the beeb. They are so far left in their news dept, atm, it is sometimes difficult to work out where reality ends and the fantasy begins.

I wish you well in all of this. Beware the BBC, though. Everytime they mention anything American that isn’t Bill Clinton or Michael Moore, you wouldn’t believe the size of the smirks on their smug faces!

I’ll I can say is watch what you say. Anything you say that can be manipulated probably will be manipulated into making you say whatever the hell they want you to say.

I agree with Joe R. Have a talking points memo in front of you so you can hit phrases and points you want to. And try not to get too bent out of shape when (not if) they take things out of context and spin it. Also keep in mind that the pros at being interviewed get paid a LOT of money to do this professionally after years and years of experience. Anticipate where they may be leading you by practicing ahead of time, and try to have a strategy in place of how to turn it around to your favour when they do.

Like others have said, use a couple of index cards from certain notes. Find clever ways to say what you want so that it becomes quoteable.
