I think I found the problem
Well...I think I know why my car is getting terrible mileage.
Today when I left the pool, I got in the car and turned the key. As I was hooking up the ipod, I heard a screech that quickly built in intensity and they a plume of steam/smoke came out from under the hood.
Then the stink of freon and hot air came in through the vents!
Looks like the A/C is kaput. Makes sense in retrospect, the REALLY bad mileage started when the temperature rose. So now I gota take it in...I’m going to have them just take care of everyting as long as it’s in. Tune-up, all that. Screw it, in for a penny…
