I ((heart)) Florida

Whoops.

The wrong patient received a heart catheterization Monday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, officials admitted this morning in a news release.

In a news conference later in the afternoon, hospital CEO Dr. Duncan Finlay told the press that doctors discovered the mix up immediately following the surgery.

“The patient had no harm done to them,” he said, “but let me emphasize that any mistake of this nature is important to us.”

It’s a damn good thing Lee’s dad is in Houston, eh?

Poor, poor Florida.  From now on, every single little mistake they make is going to be laughed at by everyone.  I wonder how long it is going to take for them to live this down, if ever.

Sean: I’m out of the Palm loop, but I always used PalmGear.com for software, and either paid for the *absolute* necessary apps, or used Astalavista (astalavista.box.sk) for the special info.  ;)
