Hey, guess what? Cocaine and heroin are bad for you.
Comedian Mitch Hedberg died accidentally in March of “multiple drug toxicity,” including cocaine and heroin, Spin magazine reports, citing reports filed by the New Jersey medical examiner’s office.
Not really a surprise to anyone who has ever seen Mitch in person. Funny as hell...drugged out of his gourd.
When are people going to learn that speedballs kill unexpectedly? It’s not worth the expense or the high.

Not that he was necessarily trying to commit suicide either, but perhaps the risk of death to him did not exceed the value of a great high.
So I suppose that when you say:
“It’s not worth the expense or the high.”
...that is highly debatable. Although I would certainly agree with you (then again, I’ve never tried cocaine or heroin).

I guess what I mean is...they suck as feel-good drugs, they;re way too expensive, they;re ridiculously dangerous and the high isn;t fun...Hedberg knew so many people that would have gladly turned him on to much nicer, safer, mind-altering ways to get high. I just don’t get why people pay good money for shit drugs. It’s like paying for a bottle of Dom but you actually get Boone’s Farm Strawberry Wine instead. Yeah, you can catch a buzz either way, but for the love of fuck…
Bah. I’m just disappointed. I liked Mitch’s stuff a lot.
