Green Day talks shit
Why is it no one ever backs this up?
For once, I’d like someone to list the specific ways Bush has financially gained since the beginning of the war in Iraq. The deals, the contracts, the payoffs...something. There has to be some trail of money, because lots of people say it.
It must be true, right?
So where’s the list? Can someone show me, specifically, the deals that have put cash in Bush’s pocket? Who, what, where, when and how much?
Let’s see some actual evidence.

Well, I guess Green Day has to do something to stay in the limelight, seeing as how they haven’t been musically relevant for about nine years.
Why do I have a feeling some of these so-called “celebrities” are getting politically involved just so people won’t forget that they exist?

That’s the first time I’ve heard someone said he took the job to make more money. I suppose it could be argued that by getting into office and pushing through the tax cuts, he would be making more money through paying less taxes… but that’s quite the stretch.

Why do you demand facts? The accusation itself is proof enough, damn it! We are talking about a republican here, and we all know that to become a republican you need to sell your soul to the devil and worship at the altar of greed & cash! BUSH = HITLER!!!
Doesn’t matter that Kerry - who’s wife is worth nearly a billion dollars - makes everyone else running for any office look like they are paupers. Anyone here about those nice corporate tax laws Kerry is planning to prevent corporations from using offshore tax havens? Read somewhere it would save Heinz Corp. some $3 Billion dollars a year, a few tens of millions of which would go directly to such big stock holders as Theresa Heinz & “average Joe” Kerry. Now that’s a man of the people!
Why start wars for profit when you can just change the laws to prevent others from becoming rich while increasing your wealth dramatically? And all while pretending to be socking it to those Benedict Arnold corporations!

This is the ultimate hypocosy of the fringe wacko’s. We are evil and the devil beacuse we believed Bush, who presented the eveidence he was given. But they can pull anything out of their ass and we just have to accept it as fact.
This is the mentality of yelling louder in an argument to win when you have no evidence to back you up.

My question is this, why does no one seem to realize that President Bush made about $250K last year (less than most CEO’s) and paid approximately $60K in taxes (about 25%) while Kerry made millions (don’t know the exact figure with him and THK combined) and together they paid MUCH LESS than $60K? I think Pres. Bush needs to get a new accountant! Also, I think it should be a requirement that upon entering this office Mr Kerry (and all Presidents for that matter) may not earn money from any other source! Seeing as they are paid well (and pay no rent, utilities, don’t pay for food, have a free car with insurance, a free plane/helicopter, and don’t pay for gas either, so why would they need any other sources of income? Basically, upon leaving after 1 term, they would have grossed about $1 million more than I make in about 40 YEARS at my current salary!

And where’s all the shit that Bush would be buying with his immorally-earned billions? Why hasn’t he gotten his presidential limo plated with gold, or a giant emerald-encrusted platinum club to beat moronic rock bands over the head with?
