Gollum is smoove
Most of the time these things suck, but this one is pretty masterfully edited. Gollum and Smeagol sing Barry White:
Imagine the hours of editing that must have taken...all to amuse us for like, two and a half minutes. :)
Speaking of LOTR, I’ve been playing LOTRII: BFME. That’s Lord Of The Rings II: Battle For Middle Earth. Pretty standard RTS game, which means I like it and will play it over and over while never really loving it. I don’t know why but I play most RTS titles dozens of times...no matter how derivative they are. LOTRII: BFME has some high points: the balrog for one. Certainly worth the rental from Gamefly.

Buzzion - never played that - I see it’s PC only, and kinda needs a decent machine to run it. My gaming rig is down, and no way could this old desktop handle it. :)
Looks pretty damn cool though.

seriously, that game will suck the fucking life right out of you. you’ll look up after saying “just one more turn” about a billion times, and it’s 5 am… the next day.

Yeah PC only and does need a good machine. If you ever finally get a new gaming rig, it would be worth the purchase.

Alpha Centauri and the Civ games in general will eat you alive. Been there.
Side comment on the video: With hardware and software capable of handling that stuff now relatively inexpensive, there’s an explosion of budding moviemakers. Some suck; some don’t.
Been playing City of Heroes, but I’ve been sorely tempted to load up Neverwinter Nights again. :)

Have you gone out and tried Supreme Commander yet? Not all that great of an rts, but I found the interface to be really unique innovative and spoiling for me on other rts games. Because how can you ever enjoy another game after you can have your transports set up for a ferrying system where all you do is click your units to a point and the transports will just keep loading and moving them on their own til its done. Or having them directly load out of the factory and sent to a waypoint. Realistic unit scaling too. And then the ability to fully zoom out and see the entire map. Man is it nice.
