Sorry to hear about your crappy Thanksgiving JimK. My wife too suffers from a chronic debilating condition, that can turn worse at any time and can turn life threatening. (Sorry, no further details - internet anonymity, y’know?) Anyway, it SUCKS!!! our prayers are with you.

I’m sorry to hear that some things are not going well for you. Be strong. Enjoy what you can while you can. There’s so much wrong in the world, sometimes we lose focus on the good stuff, things that make us smile for no reason except they just do.

Well I don’t know if it is good or not. I worked 0400 to 1600 today and tomorrow. I got of work and took a quick nap before going to the in-laws. My wife was finishing whatever dish she was making to take with use.
She forgets to wake me up, comes into the room saying she is running late and has no time to wait for me to get ready and gives me kiss takes the little one and heads out.
So happy, No in-laws, but no turkey.
