G4 can suck a fat one
Another network goes off the deep end.
Well I’ve officially been let go… along with a bunch of other people from TSS and three other shows. Kevin and Sarah are the only ones left on screen and I don’t know what they are planning to do with them. The Screen Savers as you know it is GONE! We were rounded up today at 11am and told to be out of the office at 3pm… very smooth… So I wanted to take this time to say, Thank you… thank you to all of you who gave me the chance to enter your living rooms five days a week and try my best to make you smile. You, the fans of TSS, really made me feel like a million bucks. I know it was hard for some of you to see Patrick go, but I really appreciate you all giving me a chance. I just wish I could have more time to get to know you all…
It has been one of the best experiences of my life… Thank you…

Well, that’s it for me. I refuse to watch a network that would ignore what I want to see. Not to mention how sleazy it is to migrate people from San Francisco to Los Angeles just t fire them.

Now you know why I got out of the media business, after being in it for only six years.
In fact, I’m living proof that someone would go back into law after working in media. Criminal law, none the less.

But I haven’t exactly gotten a good impression of that channel in the time I’ve been watching. That whole thing of beating you over the head with the anvil of “HALO! HALO HALO HALO! WE’RE HAVING A WHOLE DAY OF HALO! YEAH, HALO!”
Fuck, why don’t they just actually crawl up inside Microsoft’s ass and broadcast the show from there?

the entire network has blown ass since the merger. TechTv used to be the shit. G4 used to be worse then fucking QVC, because it was meant solely for video games. Because of that, they had one show to do reviews, one show to do competitions, and then a bunch of absolutely useless crap, like a show that does nothing but play screen shots or video clips for a whole hour. Since the merger, G4’s bullshit has done nothing but tear down what was once one of the best networks on TV. Back in the golden days, I would just leave it on all day in the background, because anytime you happened to divert your attention to the TV for a moment, chances are, somthing interesting was on. Now we get that same show that does nothing but show video clips of shitty video games. That’s not entertainment, thats drivel. Cold, runny, tasteless drivel. What’s more, you get the old complaint that it seems like lawyers are deciding what a bunch of tech geeks like us want to see, based on absolutely nothing. G-phoria, the award show for gamers? Fuck you, and fuck you again for having a celebrity facade, Madonna, host it. Fags.
I imagine I feel about Tech TV the way liberals feel about the country. YEAAAARRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
