Foley isn’t God
Not this Foley, anyway. This Foley is, but we’re not talking about him.
As for the whole mess, I’m going to have to agree with Michelle Malkin on this one. Yes, I question the timing of the release of this information. Yes, I know the blog that broke this story was likely set up just for this purpose. Yes, we need to know exactly who knew this stuff and when, on both sides of the aisle, and find out why they released it a few weeks before the election.
However.
Mark Foley was at best a sexual predator and at worst, an abuser of minors. GOP leadership tried to cover it up. For that, he and they must be made to pay. he was supposed to be protecting young people from predators, instead he was one.
Do not lose sight of what a low-life Mark Foley is. It’s important to ask who knew and when, and to find out why the information was withheld for so long. It;s much more inportant to step up, admit this scumbag did something wrong and stop trying to shift focus to the crimes of others.

Heard Boehner a bit on Hannity today. Never listen to Hannity but it was the station with the Bengals game yesterday. Anyways he has said that he only knew of the overly-friendly e-mail that was recent. He was not aware of these 2-3 year old instant messages that someone was sitting on and keeping hidden.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if it comes out that a democrat had those and was just sitting on it waiting to release them at an opportune time, all while keeping the Page’s in danger of this sick fuck. Wouldn’t be surprising though since apparently in the 80’s they gave Studd’s 3 standing ovations after censuring him for sex with a 17 year old.

It’s looking like the GOP leadership didn’t cover it up. The IM’s are from 2003 so I wonder if anyone will call for the head of the scumbags who knew this guy was a threat and saved it until just before an election.
Anyone, and I mean anyone who held those IM’s for all that time should be charged with anything Foley did during the past two and a half years and serve the same sentence he gets.
To know kids are in danger and hold the info until it is a political bullet is the lowest thing any human being can do.
