Continuing the tradition

1. Once again, I will not believe anything I read online for the next 24 hours.

2. Seriously, I mean it’s massive.  11 inches long, thick like a Hickory farms summer sausage, with veins like an oil pipeline.  It’s been known to scare children, make women swoon and force straight men to want to touch it.  I can’t believe I went a whole year without showing you pictures of it.

Ha!  Good one.  Eleven inches??  I don’t fold mine in half for anyone! ;) Merry April Fool’s Day!

Hey jim, didn’ you have a post about a year ago about a computer you ordered that with the exception of a few problems you were happy with it overall?  What was the company that made it?  The reason I’m asking is I’m thinking of getting a new computer and wanted to look around for some and decide on whether to just buy one straight up or buy and build.

It was Monarch...they shut down last year though.

If I had to recommend someone that builds systems, I think right now it would be Puget.  They took care of all Monarch’s warranty customers for free (all you paid were parts and shipping) after Monarch skedaddled for the hills.
