Can’t do it
In this post, I said I would scan, color correct and post 5 images from my wedding by Sunday...that’s not gonna happen. I can’t find the little black thingy that holds the negatives and the scanner simply refuses to see the negatives without it.
We have a new photo printer/scanner coming...it has negative capabilities. I should get it by Wednesday. So lemme just delay this a week. It’s been 7 frigging years...another week ain’t gonna matter. ;)

We got the Canon PIXMA MP950...I’ve always been partial to Epson scanners, but I really wanted an all-in-one to save the hassle of unplugging and moving the printer every time I wanted to use the scanner. Plus the MP950 is supposed to make beautiful borderless prints, which we’re interested in doing to replace some crap that’s been on the walls here since we moved in 6 years ago. :)

No doubt. If you’re looking to scan negatives and blow them up for home printing at 8.5x11 that scanner will work just fine. I recommend getting different scanner software.. something like VueScan.

What scanner did you get? I recently picked up an Epson 4490 and love it.
