Bullying young bloggers
Many of you have probably seen this story around the blog world already, but what the hell, can one more opinion hurt?
The basics; A kid named Austin, who is THIRTEEN, started a political blog. Like all of us, he grabs images that are newsworthy and includes them in his posts. A couple of jerks decided to attack him for “stealing an Instalanche” because he got an Instapundit link instead of the site from which he borrowed the image. They bashed and bullied him until his mother and he decided that the blog would be closed.
Go, read the whole thing. The idiot from Blogs for Bush and the other idiot from Cheese & Crackers are nothing more than grade-school bullies and should be ashamed of themselves.
I’ve decided to de-link all blogs connected to these two idiots. I may not have much traffic, but whatever I have will not be beneficial to two such as those.
More here, here, here, and Golson’s backhanded, too-little apology here. His apology is pathetic. He should be apologizing for harassing the kid over something that had nothing to do with him in the first damned place. Instead he apologizes *ONLY* for the “little bastard” comment.
