American Idol did Queen
Oh dear God. It was quite a bit of a train wreck.
I predict Kellie, Ace and Elliot as the bottom three. Only Taylor’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and Katherine McPhee with “Who Wants To Live Forever” were any good, although McPhee missed the same note over and over. Chris missed with “innuendo” but his vocal was half-decent. Paris almost had it with “The Show Must Go On.” The band drowned her out and she didn’t hit the chorus as big as she should have.
Taylor wins the night, even with his spastic mic stand episode. :) Kellie’s the big loser, but I could see Ace or Elliot going home.
Donna says Paris, Ace and Elliot as bottom three, and she...and I might have to divorce her for this, says that Kellie wasn’t that bad doing “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
I think her ears are filled with cat poo or something. ;)

I agree with Donna, Kellie wasn’t that bad. Paris was really good too.
I think Bucky did a decent job, espcially compared to Ace. Ace Sucked.
Elliot sucked too, but all three judges loved him.....must be a completely different mix when you hear it in person.
Ace, Elliot, and Bucky in the bottom three. Elliot goes home.

i agree with donna re: bottom 3. i don’t think paris belongs there, but she was so far out of her element and so lil’ kimmish, i was thrown, and i’m sure her fans will be, too.
for the rest of my review, i refer you to my post regarding same.

I totally said Lil Kim too...first thing I thought of when I saw her!
I can’t believe some of you people sort of liked Kellie. You’re all dead to me until you’re not. :)

I thought she was horrible. Just proves Simon doesn’t know a damn thing that he actually thought she WASN’T.

“Almost had it”? Are you as tone-deaf as Simon? She was the best one of that show! Paris was the only one that made me actually turn my head towards the screen and pay attention, because she was DAMN good.
And no one did “Princes of the Universe”. It’s not Queen without “Princes of the Universe”.
(And Daughtry should have done “Gimme the Prize"… something brooding and evil to go with his look.)
